Very disappointing, mostly crumbs. Will never order again. They’re a little crumbly but are fantastic for training. My dogs really liked these treats overall. These treats are ideal for training. They’re small but can still be broken up. They are good smelling and my dog likes them. They are a bit messy however.Various offerings you can find to buy, is this the one for you?You can find this stuff from a dollar an ounce to probably this is being in the high range. The whole bag is only 1 ounce. This could be a premium snack you get for special training, up to you if you don't feel like getting a whole preserved lung and just break pieces off as necessary. I wouldn't exactly use it as a regular every day treat at this price. Would it motivate my stubborn dog? Guaranteed.Smells like classic beef lung, I have zero reservations believing this stuff is fresh, though. It definitely makes my girl drool when she recognizes she's getting.I've gotten lung at a big-name warehouse store before, and it was completely usable, but this Primal stuff smells and looks much fresher.Maybe these are a little too hard for her? She'll eat them, but she doesn't get excited like with other treatsMy puppy really likes these! As you can see (pics) they come in pieces a bit less than the size of a quarter. They're very light but give a good crunchy chew! My pup is not food motivated when playing, but she'll actually respond to me right away when I have these - very rare feat! The taste is definitely a homerun with my dog! They're our new "HVT" (high value treat).Have to take a star off: Unfortunately, I don't think I could afford to buy these on a regular basis to feed my 44 lbs pup. We'd go through them way too fast which just wouldn't be economical for our situation. I'd love to get a little bit more bang (aka product) for my buck. Beyond the quantity I have no complaints and would def recommend. They're a hit!*My reviews are 100% honest & mine. Hope it assists with your purchasing decision*Our 28 lb australian labradoodle loooooves these treats. But she loves beef lung in general so I can't really say it's Primal-specific! The price ($8 at time of this review for a 1 oz bag) is way higher than we pay at our local pet store for other brands. I thought it might be because this was US sourced beef, but then realized the packaging fine print says this is "Crafted in the USA" --- "with the world's finest ingredients". So this is presumably beef sourced internationally somewhere, without much visibility as to where. Soooo.... my dog would give the treats 5 stars. My wallet would give them 4 given I can't tell much difference in ingredient sourcing vs the standard brands at our local pet store. My mom's Yorkie is crazy picky even with treats and he loves these. He even ate them 2 days in a row which is rare. These aren't a great value for $8 an ounce but good to know that he likes beef lung. Pieces are pretty small some smaller than others. Easy to break into pieces for tiny dogs.
