Service was good but the book uses metric measurements. Wish I'd have known that. This is a very cute little book of recipes. Photography is great, magazine finish on pages for easy clean up if you spill. However, be aware that the recipes are written using grams or ounces for measurement, and the baking temps are in Celcius. There is a conversion chart in the back of the book so you can convert the recipes if you need to.This is a small book containing 35 recipes for what it calls coffee time treats, although they could serve for tea time as well. There are some recipes for coffee and 1 for hot chocolate. The rest of the recipes range from candy type to dessert, brownies, biscuits and petit fours. Measurements are in imperial and metric and there is also a conversion chart and an index. The treats are all lovely, each with a nice picture and are not that hard to make, if you have a bit of cooking experience. Some are ordinary recipes such as mini brownies, others for truffles and langues de chat.My one caution would be to realize that this book only has 35 recipes - so compare that to the cost and see if it is worth the price to you, although it does make a nice little gift.good for the pricei love having a little tray of fresh baked goodies when friends come over for coffee. this book has got some really cute ideas and recipes. though there are also some recipes for coffee varations and some really simple recipes that are almost for kids as they don't require any cooking whatsoever. for example, cutting shaped out of ready made marzipa and covering them in chocolate. making 'cigarettes' by dipping ready made tube shaped biscuits in icing and chocolate. i don't know what stuff like that do in a recipe book of this type. should have had some more real recipes instead
