My dogs and cats love these treats. In fact, they are the only treats my cats will eat. I just break them up a bit for the cats if the pieces are too big. I love the fact they don't have any extra ingredients and both my dogs and cats can eat them. These PureBites treats are probably the best thing you can buy for your dog in terms of treats. My dog absolutely LOVES every PureBites product I have bought for him (we have now tried them all!). He has been enrolled in obedience training since he was 9 weeks old and I have been using these treats since he was about 4 months old; we are never going back to generic dog treats! Here are my top pros for this product:1. One Ingredient! You literally cannot do better than this, especially if your dog has any kind of food intolerance or allergies.2. The Ocean Whitefish are quite smelly, but I would consider this a plus since my dog is more enticed with smelly treats.3. They are excellent for obedience and agility training because they are easy to handle, being freeze-dried, and are also low in calories. Treat away!4. They have never caused my dog stomach upset or diarrhea, while other more generic treats have.5. They are sourced in the USA6. High protein content, low to zero carbs and no added sugarOverall, this brand is my absolute favorite to feed my dog. He is now getting into advanced obedience training and good treats are an absolute necessity for positive reinforcement. I would recommend these to anyone who loves their dog.I have an Eskie with a sensitive stomach (and possibly allergies) who's on a strict diet. His protein is whitefish so these are one of the very few treats he can have. He absolutely loves them! He goes crazy for them!! The first time I bought them I got the cat ones by accident... the only difference is the size; the dog ones are much larger pieces. I actually keep a bag of each in the house all the time now and use the smaller (cat) ones for some things (like training) and the larger (dog) ones for treats or if I need to trade him for something he shouldn't have. I've purchased quite a few bags and always pleased.I have an old whippet who has liver cancer and has been surviving it for 2 1/2 years. His diet is very restricted because of that. These treats are something he can have with no issues, and he really really loves them. So much that he asks for them all the time, and before he needed cajoling to eat his food. The only thing is that by the time you get to the bottom of the bag there's a lot of fish dust, but then, whitefish is a flaky fish with a very delicate texture so I think it's fairly normal. For the price I paid for these treats, it was an exceptional value. These literally are pure whitefish, just reduced to waterless cubes. Our dogs love them, but they of course smell horrible. When ordering, keep in mind the cost of fish in general and figure out a cost per ounce that you're happy with paying -- the MSRP this shows is ridiculous. But just basing my review on the quality and how accurate the description was, it's great. Only negative is that there ends up being a LOT of dust and broken pieces in the bag -- I'd say less than a quarter of each bag is actually the full-size cubes they were intended to be.This is my cat "treat" for my three kitties. They love this stuff. Smells horrible, but that's what fish smells like! LOLI had originally used the freeze dried beef liver, which my dogs loved. I thought they would like the freeze dried fish… I guess they did, but this stuff flakes apart and falls apart easily. And it really really really smells strongly of fish!I can keep the freeze dried beef liver in a Tupperware in my car forever, never smells never goes bad. I didn’t like to open this fish stuff in the house, it immediately stinks up the room.My dogs love these. Plus it saves calories in my overweight dog's diet.I bought these for a friend's dog who is a frequent visitor, and one who I 'borrow' sometimes to take along on my walks. He has severe food sensitivities, and fish is the only food he can eat - they have to buy special frozen food for him. He LOVES these treats! When we go to the leash-free, he knows I have them in my pocket and frequently comes back to me and sniffs my pocket, signalling he wants a treat. He doesn't have any adverse reactions which tells me they are good quality. My grandmas evil cat loves these treats and she let's me touch her if I have them. This time they shipped the right size, previously they sent the wrong size but reimbursed me and let me keep the ones they sent. Very pleased with this seller.Very stinky & fish smelling. However, if you don't mind the odour then this is a great buy for the value. The price on Amazon is less than my local pet store. This is my dogs favourite treat. I will definitely purchase this item again. My only complaint is they stink, but it's dried fish so I guess that is to be expected! Both my dog and my cat LOVE these! My dog has allergies and so we were very happy to find these one ingredient treats. Warning - they do stink, stink, stink, but they grab her attention and she loves them. I just bring baby wipes whenever I know I'll be sticking my hand in the bag!
