I found this in a used bin a few years ago & I think I 1st heard this on Bill Kelly's awesome "Teenage Waste Land" internet show. If you have the "Children of Nuggets" box & like power pop & paisley underground bands on that you will like this band. (Not sure why they were not included on that set?) But, The Autumn Leaves write nice tunes with harmony & catchy melodies. You can hear the folk& psychedelic rock influence of the Byrds and pop sense of Searchers/Hollies type sound. The production is nice & clean especially on the guitars (sounds like heavy chime of Rickenbacker/fender). It's a 60's influenced band without being slavish or overly 'retro'. In other words, its a good band & worth investigating.
