I have a pitbull with severe allergies. Her vet had her on prednisone which I was concerned about once reading up on it as it can cause problems with prolonged use of the medication. I give my dog 4-6 treat a day shortly after a dose of her medication. I read you should continue to give your dog probiotics at least two weeks after the last dose of medication.My dog loves this treat and goes crazy when i pick up the bag.She has been on the probios for 4 weeks now, and i see a marked improvement in her stool, which is very regular and nice & firm instead of soft & mushy. You can tell alot of the health of your dog from their stool which will typically be brown and of an even, well-digested consistency. I feel better knowing that this product is actually improving my dog's health and the fact that she loves it is an added bonus!
